My group has done it again helped me get my second book published. Volume two Woman of the Heartland: The War Years is now available at Amazon and for Kindle.
This book a bio-historical work of creative non-fiction continues the story of my mother’s life. Following where the first book Woman of the Heartland: Rural Upbringing left off.
Now newly engaged the attack on Pearl harbor occurs and Doris and Tom’s lives change. She follows him to his posting in California and they marry. For the next several years it is WWII that dictates what happens in their lives. When the war ends they return to the land they’ve purchased on the Crow Wing River and build their home.
